When you're looking for a minivan, Honda's Odyssey is one of the best options on the market. The Odyssey offers spacious interiors and plenty of cargo space. It also provides a comfortable ride. It is also one of its most reliable in class. In fact, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave Odyssey the Top Safety Pick Plus rating.

The Honda Odyssey comes in four trims: EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. Higher trims add features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. For most buyers, however, the lower Odyssey models are more than adequate.

The Odyssey features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower. It is coupled with a 10-speed automated transmission. It's fast enough to keep up the speed of highway traffic, even though it might not be as fast. The Odyssey achieves 22 mpg when combined.

Honda has two new transmissions in the Odyssey's range. Standard in the lower models is a 9-speed, while an optional ten-speed version is available. Both are available for the Sport grade. The Sport model comes with black leather seats and red contrast stitching. It also includes 19-inch alloy wheels. You'll also find rear-seat entertainment screens with built-in streaming apps.

If you're looking for a little more room inside the Odyssey, the Sport and Touring trims include the Magic Slide second-row seat. This slide-forward seat offers easy access to the third row. The remote start, power-sliding doors at the rear and remote start are also included.

The interior of the Honda Odyssey is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The Honda Odyssey is equipped with many sensors. This includes active lane control, rear cross traffic warning system, blind-spot warning and lane departure warning. Smart storage spaces are available on the doors as well as in the consoles.

The Odyssey, despite its compact size provides ample legroom to its eight-passenger seating. It also sits very low to the ground, which is a bonus. The Honda Odyssey is about two inches longer than the Chrysler Pacifica in terms of legroom.

Honda's Sensing Package is also available for the Odyssey. This includes active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. HondaLink is also available for higher-trim model models.

The 2023 Honda Odyssey also features USB ports, a free scheduled maintenance plan, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a complimentary schedule maintenance plan. The LX model was discontinued. But, the Odysseys line has now added a Sport version.

The design of the Odyssey is a mix of modern and classic. Although not as elegant as other minivans it's well-designed.

Honda offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty for the Odyssey. These warranties are identical to most other competitors. However, the company has been known to extend its warranty to a total of eight years or unlimited miles.

The Honda Odyssey is a wonderful minivan for families. It's safe, quiet and has lots of cargo space. The interior might be a little boring for some drivers.
